Justin Timberlake Biography

Justin Randall Timberlake, also know as JT, was born on January 31, 1981 in Memphis, Tennessee. Timberlake was born a natural performer. He began dancing and singing when he was still in diapers! He won his very first competition as a young teenager and prophetically, it was a Dance Like New Kids On The Block contest, indicating that young Justin was destined to join a boy band. This curly haired moppet drew great attention at an early age when he appeared on the Star Search TV Talent Contest at age 11, 1992. The following year, Justin was signed to Disney’s remake of the Mickey Mouse Club, where he met future ‘N Sync band member JC Chasez.

Justin, being the lead vocalist and icon for ‘N Sync took the boy group to the top of the charts. Together, they created 3 hit albums, including their debut self-titled album (1998), Home for Christmas (1998), and No Strings Attached (2000). ‘N Sync music also appeared in Dr. Seuss’s How the Grinch Stole Christmas soundtrack (2000).

Since JT’s career took off at an early stage in his life, his education was affected. It was extremely difficult for him to continue in regular day school programs since he was preoccupied with upcoming concerts 6 days a week, 300 days a year. However, Justin insisted that he must obtain his high school diploma, and did just that.

His drive for success did not stop at singing. Justin decided to try out for acting roles, and found himself extremely successful at that as well. Some of his current works include roles on feature films such as: Alpha Dog (2006), Black Snake Moan (2006), and Shrek the Third (2007).
